He was part of the founding team from Manches that launched the commercial litigation department at Stewarts in 2009. Stewarts quickly became the UK’s leading litigation-only firm. In 2017, he set up his own commercial litigation department at Jury O’Shea.

Daniel has acted in numerous high-stakes disputes involving banks and other financial institutions. He has frequently acted for and against insurers, and has experience of coverage and liability disputes. His work has often involved cross- border elements, coordinating multi-jurisdictional teams and navigating international legal landscapes with precision. He also brings significant experience in fraud, insolvency, private client, and trust disputes - areas where sensitivity and discretion are paramount.

Daniel has settled numerous cases at mediation as a lawyer, and is a CEDR accredited mediator. In addition to his professional practice, Daniel volunteers as a community mediator with the Brighton and Hove Independent Mediation Service.
